Your Chance to See the National Chiropractic Legislative Conference Live

Even if you're not attending this year's National Chiropractic Legislative Conference and Educational Symposium in Washington, D.C., you still have the opportunity to check in on the proceedings as they occur courtesy of live streaming, which allows for the live delivery of video, audio and other media over the Internet.

The American Chiropractic Association has announced that the event's General Session will - for the first time - be streamed live. The live streaming will be accomplished in conjunction with Dynamic Chiropractic.

To view the NCLC General Session, which takes place in the Capital Hilton ballroom, click here on March 7, 2013, anytime from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. EST. You can also click on the link now and then mark the site as a favorite on your computer / browser, which will allow you to access the streaming content easily on March 7.

“While we’ll always need as many DCs as possible in Washington for valuable face time with legislators, we realize that some simply can’t make the trip,” said ACA President Keith Overland, DC. “Our hope is that everyone who watches online will be inspired to become more active in advancing their profession through political advocacy.”

The National Chiropractic Legislative Conference takes place March 6-10 this year. Featured speakers at this year's General Session include:

·  Keynote speaker Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Fla.), chair of the Special Senate Committee on Aging and senior member of the Armed Services Committee

·  Don Barrett, producer and director of the upcoming PBS documentary, “Pain in America: The Silver Tsunami”

·  Rep. Gregg Harper (R-Miss.), a senior member of the Energy and Commerce Committee

·  Jeff Hays, producer of the documentary film “Doctored”

·  Rep. Dave Loebsack (D-Iowa), a member of the House Armed Services Committee

·  Rep. Tom Reed (R-N.Y.), a member of the House Ways and Means Committee

“NCLC is a powerful example of the profession coming together for the good of chiropractic patients,” said Donald M. Petersen Jr., president and publisher of MPA Media. “Dynamic Chiropractic is proud to help share the good work being done by the profession in Washington, D.C., with as many members of the profession as possible.”
