Dr. Sid E. Williams Elected to Board of ICA

President and founder of Life College, Dr. Sid E. Williams, was recently elected chairman of the board of the International Chiropractors Association (ICA) for a second term at the ICA's 65th national convention. Dr. Williams joined the ICA while a student at Palmer College of Chiropractic 38 years ago.

A nationally known educator, Dr. Williams was nominated for the two-year term as chairman by ICA president Dr. James Gregg. Following new association procedures, the chairman was elected by the board itself.

Dr. Williams is the ICA's first elected chairman; prior to this year the outgoing president automatically became chairman and served for three years. He first succeeded to chairmanship of the ICA board in 1985 following a successful term as president. He became chairman again in 1989, when he was appointed to fill an unexpired term.

As a leading educator and authority on chiropractic, Dr. Williams has been interviewed in the New York Times, on "60 Minutes", featured in the Atlanta Constitution, Georgia Trend, and numerous other newspapers and magazines. He is familiar to television viewers as host of "Chiropractic Insight" on Superstation WTBS.
